The skip can go on your drive – minimum width of 10ft/3m is needed.

If the skip has to go on the road, we’ll organise the 7 day road permit for you with your local council – there’ll be an extra charge for the permit/cone/light.

Even if the skip goes on a grass verge/pavement area it still needs a permit.

Road permits can be renewed at an extra charge every 7 days.

Most everyday household, office and garden waste can be put in the skip if in doubt please check with us.

Anything classed as hazardous eg asbestos,paint, tyres,gas bottles, fridges, freezers, fluorescent tubes etc… Our driver will give you an information sheet with specific items. Please note we no longer accept POPs (Persistant Organic Pollutants) which is the foam in sofas and mattresses, if in doubt just give us a ring.

As a guide a 4, 6, and 8 cubic yard skip will safely carry approx. 4, 6 or 8 tons of soil. If it’s lighter waste, it will carry less tonnage because the waste is bulky.

All skips must be “LEVEL FILL” only. No “greedy boards” please otherwise we’ll have to remove the overloaded waste from the skip. All skips must legally be covered with a net for safe transport.
